My dream
My dream in live is to fight for rights of people, and especially the indigenous women. I think I do a good effort to accomplish that in my voluntary work.
Family
I am a single woman. I have never been married, but I hope to find the man of my dreams some day.
I have one sister, and no brothers. My mother has already died, so I only have my father. I studied anthropology, a study that I liked to do.
What I expect from YouBridge
After completing my master degree I worked in some organization in very rural area. I work for the rights of indigenous people and women. Lately I decided to work as a teacher. Now I am a teacher in pre-primary School in Kathmandu. Since I don’t have big salary I am not able to afford laptop to broaden my knowledge to work with children. If YouBridge program supports me, it will definitely enhance my efficiency. I could utilize this for developing my education background in “IT” sector and making contacts with people all over the world. I wish to use it to promote my cause for the education of children in Nepal.
Interests
I am a volunteer for indigenous people and their rights, which is something I am really dedicated to. Since I am a volunteer, I don’t make money out of it. So I have a job here, I am a teacher in preschool. Teachers don’t make a lot of money here, but it’s enough to live from it.
I am a secretary as volunteers job. so I have to deal with administration a lot.
