My dream
I wanted to be a nurse when I was very small at school. Later I forgot
that and wanted to be a teacher perhaps because my step mother
was a good teacher. But in general, I liked serving for others and
making others happy. This must be the influence from my mother.
She still supports me when I am working on education, rights of
people in the villages.
Family
Although my father had second wife, he gave all the children the
best education he could think and a courage to live as a person.
Although we were opressed culturally, he motivated us to study
and look beyond the environment we were living.
What I expect from YouBridge
Now I am working to train teachers and parent representatives of
in school management so that children in public schools get good
education. My dream is to work with like minded friends to realize
the dream of education for all children in Nepal. I want to become an education campaigner inside and out. I have kept this mission above
my family and urge to earn money – of course, I need supporting
environment and basic resources to work and survive. Now friends
have put me in the list of people to receive a laptop for YouBridge
programme, I wish to use it to promote my cause for the education
of children in Nepal.
About me
I studied Nepali literature and language.
