My dream
As a health care provider, my dream is to have a world where preventable diseases are no more a public health threat! My focus is more on school children who are grossly vulnerable and yet greatly marginalized by the current health service delivery particularly in my country Uganda.
Family
I am born to Mr. Ephraim Adepo (R.I.P) and Mrs. Michal Isina Adepo(R.I.P). I am third born of ten siblings. In my culture, the first borne female child is automatically named after the paternal grandmother. In my case, the family broke this tradition, I came as the second girl child and it was me who got the prestigious previledge. Since then I have enjoyed a special place in the family of being called ' Tata' ( Grandma) as nowane dares call Dads mum by her name in the Teso culture! My own dad and mum referred to me the same way all their lives and indeed I felt special and loved! In turn I have very special love for my parents even if they are now departed. I am married with three children, one daughter and two sons, each of them is a special friend to me. My family lives together in Kampala which is the capital city of Uganda. I look forward to some day having my own grand children and the first girl grand daughters named after me!
Music
I not into movies but I love listening to Christian and soft music. My favorite musicians are Philly Lutaaya and Don Williams.
Associations
Some of my association memberships are: 1. Uganda Nurses and Midwives Association 2. Uganda National Association of Community and Occupational Health 3. Uganda Public Health Nurses Association 4. Iteso Cultural Union
Interests
I like making friends regardless of color and race, and having fun with friends. I also enjoy backyard farming and keeping domestic birds like chicken and turkeys.
