To those who see with loving eyes, life is beautiful. Those who speak with a tender voice, life is peaceful. Those who help with gentle hands, life is full and those who care with compassionate hearts, life is good beyond all measures. A lways stretch your heart and expand your love so that it touches not just those whom you give too but more so those who need it most.

What is success to you? Is it just getting a good job, studying to the highest hierarchy, having a wonderful family, living in a wall fence or achieving your biggest dreams? To me success is planting a seed in someone, naturing it and helping it grow... I want to be a successful person where ever I go...

Through YouBridge, many needy persons can be helped. We need to stand near each other and hold on each other to stand upright. With just a smile, one can bring back a lost life. In this world, challenges and sufferings out weigh successes, however, with united hands, even a hard bone can be broken and when it is broken, the marrow can be used to bind up the weaker ones.

We, each of us, starting, first, with a vision of the members of our world community finding a way to grow closer with one another. And then, each of us as individuals, endeavoring to take a step, almost any step toward making that happen. We rejoice in the possibilities. And we hope. That’s why we are here. At least, that’s why I am here, and I welcome the rest of you. I wish for peace, justice, and opportunity for all.

@Victoria: currently we are focussing all our efforts in making a success out of the 2 countries that we are active: Bangladesh & Uganda. However, we start looking for expansion. Currently we are looking for expansion in Congo, Tanzania, Peru & Nepal. Nigeria is not in the list, since we do not have any network there. If you can help us on that one, we would be pleased. Please send us your ideas on info@youbridge.org

Hello Jonas! it is not very easy for to make you understand UGANDA very well, but it has a conducive atmosphere which favors almost every one; with green pastures, physical features for people who enjoy touring, and many more that can be appreciated if you get in UGANDA" The pearl of Africa." I wish the best and ought to see you in Uganda.
30/09/2010 at 17:41

Achieving the 8 MDGs would seem to be easy in the pearl of Africa. However, the destiny is by the door side now. It is impossible per now. Any way by the next scheduled, through active participation and corruption free environment, something shall be achieved.

Hello IHSU community! what do think about Uganda achieving the 8 MDGS come 2015?

Corruption is a complication of Poverty and ignorance.
22/09/2010 at 13:57
John Abe
Dear students, it is unfortunate that corrupt persons are left unpunished once got guilty. They are cited or traced fine but the issue is what happen next? The same money and materials that they got from the public offices are used for buying defenders (the so called lawyers) during court. Therefore it starts from you and i that we have to leave defenders when found guilty.
20/09/2010 at 15:02
Mujjabi Martin
Corruption the cancer of capitalism and the noose of communism. Ignorance plays a key role but also poverty deprives one of common sense. see what happened in Thailand on ousting Thaksin.........................
18/09/2010 at 11:49
Ojok Francis
Hi Stighelen, it is true that corrupt leaders are helped by our ignorance. But in countries where whistle blowers are not protected it means ignorance does very little and worse of all where the law only catches some few individuals and others are above the law, corrupt leaders always become chronic.

After the yes vote in Kenya, Ugandans need to know that the future of human rights change starts today not after a given regime. make it balanced and this asset is achieved permanently
20/08/2010 at 06:39
Filder Claret Adyero
What about the 7%, already we are hearing of people being arrested and those who fear arrest are likely run to Uganda, such situation normally bring strain in Diplomatic relationship between the two countries, and that is not good for E. A. Comm.

Well re- election of president Kagame by 93% means the majority have spoken, there will generally be peace, Rwanda of recent has become a destination for many Ugandans looking for employement. To its goodnews but...

human rights is not a previlage but a necessity for sustainabledevelopment
15/08/2010 at 21:04

The transition of Rwanda from a genocide state to a developing state has been great but how about the human rights development, fair competitions and other human development principles. Ojok beyond the mountain peak is a valley

Well! re-election of Kagame means continuing peace, more employment opportunities , and more business opportunities within the East African community of which Uganda and Rwanda are members.sorry for that! and regards!

Jonas, i don't think the elections in Rwanda will affect the stability of Uganda. Maybe some people migrating from there to Uganda instead.
10/08/2010 at 15:32

hi Francis, I especially meant positive things coming from Rwanda to Uganda by re-election of Kagame. Could you elaborate on this?
09/08/2010 at 17:10
Ojok Francis
Definitely no! Uganda! we are on high alert since the bombings.Rwanda is not ready for war again, they have had enough of it.Regards jonas!
09/08/2010 at 16:14
jonas de cooman
hi YouBridge community in Uganda. Today elections in Rwanda. Do you see any effect on stabilty in Uganda? thx!
09/08/2010 at 10:24
Filder Claret Adyero
Kenyans showed maturity,it proved that violence free election is possible in Africa. I admired the Hi tech used to compute the results, I wish Uganda can borrow a leaf, delayed election results is one of the causes of violence.
08/08/2010 at 23:07
Filder Claret Adyero
Peace in Kenya is very important to Ugandans since Kenya is the gateway. Lets emulate Kenya and have a peaceful election next year. Let all young people say no to election violence.
