My dream
I want to be an excellent Health Professional. To work with Communities and other Stakeholders in Health to achieve better health living standards for both urban and rural communities. Do all i can to for my family to be self reliant. I want to live in a friendly environment as well.
Family
I have a family of 5 members. My children are Sylvia is eldest aged 33 years, Ronnie 29 years, Proscovia Mary, who prefers to be called Prossy is aged 24 years and Tom is 14 years and youngest, then myself a single parent. We are born again in our family and fellowship with the Pentecotal church called Deliverance Church,Mbale. I was born in a polygamous family of a prominent chief, and both my parents passed away, may God rest their souls in eternal peace. My dad died first and my mom a mother of 3 ably brought us up.Iam the second born. She did not go far in schooling but ably educated us. My young sister is now a widow and mother of 5,whom I support added to my family and my late brother left 5 children too. Most of the children have completed school at both diploma and university levels. However, employment remains a challenge. Our family so fay has 4 grand children and am happy and always enjoy being with them especially at Christmas season.

My favourite music is Christian Music of our Churches and the Eschatos of the Anglican Church and Jim Reeves

Yes, Am a Member of the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Association and the Public Health Nurses Association. At Church am a member of Young Adults and Childrens Church Clubs
Interests
My hobbies are- reading news papers, listening to Christian music, and gardening. Activities I enjoy include- teaching communities about health and and Sunday School Children about Christianity. Pets I have a cat named Tresy,and 2 dogs one OB and the other Scuubi. They are friendly to us.
About me
I am Jennifer Kakayi Wandawa, a Public Health Nurse in Mbale District Local Government at the District Health Office as an Assistant District Health Officer, In-Charge Maternal Child Health. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration, Diploma in Public Health Nursing, Registered Nursing and Midwifery Advanced Diploma in Health Services Management and Diploma. I have worked as a Nurse Administrator at Hospital Level , Project Health Visitor in PHC Project, and a District Health Visitor at District Level. I was a Clinical Instructor in Ngora School of Midwifery. My work experience has been motivative and excellent to work with communities in a dynamic environment. My family members, friends and colleagues have been very supportive.Not forgetting my Tutors and Lecturers who did a lot and continue to be a legacy in my career.
