To start off, we would like to thank the students of the first
and second grade for their effort during their sponsered trip on
April 26th. The students all completed an eight kilometer route 'op
stap naar kruisborre'. The students prepared for this trip by
looking for family and friends to sponser this expedition.
This effort raised 1513,76 Euro for YouBridge!
The picture below shows how proud the students are to hand over
their cheque to YouBridge.
Their efforts were also picked up by the local press. Have look at the (Dutch) article here.

We also want to thank the students of 4ASO specifically. One of
their assignments consisted of setting up a fundraising event all
by themselves. With a team of 16 people, they managed to set up
several succesful activities.
Jade, Adrianna, Marie, Jens and Frederik handed out violas in
exchange for a contribution during the school's banquet in october
2010.

Yasmine, Marine, Stien, Jelle, Robbe and Jonathan succeeded in
setting up a romantic action around Valentine's day. Their slogan
was 'say it with a rose".
Finally, Evelien, San Yin, Bart, Donovan and Ramneek went all
out in organising daycare for children during the open campus day
at the school in April 2011. The children enjoyed themselves with
fishing for suprises and playing a wide range of games. Meanwhile,
their parents received information on 'washing the pig' (which is a
Dutch proverb). More information on this website: steun project.

All together, these actions raised an amount of 1268,25
Euro !
This year, Campus Vijverbeek will donate 12 laptops to students
in Uganda. The remaining amount raised with the events mentioned
above will also go to YouBridge as financial support.
Again, from the whole YouBridge team, we would like to
thank to the students, teachers and direction!!!
