My dream
I have been much motivated and impressed by mission and vision of YouBridge. In my opinion, youth has power; they can change this conflicting world into the peaceful universe. The target group of YouBridge is youngsters. It seems as a catalyst for people to get involved in their community and make a difference. YouBridge, therefore, energizes those who are already engaged in good causes because the people recognize they are not alone in their endeavor. It brings families together and promotes positive life skills. So, if we (the young people) have been given a good opportunity, we will definitely explore ourselves and then capable to show our covert potentiality. I believe that if I am given an opportunity with a laptop it will expose me to key challenges of my destination and the most promising potential areas and courses of actions through an interdisciplinary and multicultural networking. The laptop will help me to do my daily works as well as I can do my office work from my home. The best thing is that I will leap to my dream, social networking, through which I can engage myself with the humanitarian activities beyond my all limitations. Finally, I want to be a part of YouBridge, because it can definitely bridge me all over the world and expect that this organization will explore itself as soon as possible with its main strength, which is youth-power.
Family
I am from a lower middle class family. I have my parents and a younger sister. My father is a service holder he earns BDT 8000 per month and my mother is the house manager. My sister is studying at University level. However, I have been struggling since my early age. It was not so easy for me to complete my study over here. My father had not ability to provide me all time support for my study. So, I had to do some part time works to keep continue my study. That time I had no access to computer which was barely needed for assignment, research work and academic studies etc. Still now I have no computer of my own. Now, my father becomes old and he intends to quit his job due to his physical complexities. I have to send money to my parents for family purpose and my sister for keep continuing her study. So, it seems utopia for me to buy computer. But, consequently I think that if I have not true access to the networking world, I cannot cope with my dream.
Interests
I have been devoting the majority of my free time to do what I love most: READING. It is just wonderful to let myself lose into a whole new world every time I open a book. From my childhood I used to read the Bengali story books, thrillers, horrors, novel, juvenile magazine etc. Now I am a development worker and cannot get enough time to read. But whenever I can manage free time I do reading and now I basically concentrate on development related books, journals, periodicals etc.
In my opinion, reading has the ability to change my life, reading helps develop a sense of creativity. Reading is simply great way to unwind at the end of a stressful day and enjoy my own imaginations. Howbeit, I would also like to travel in Bangladesh as well as around the world and also have the tendency to watch movies.
